When we become Christians, we’re forgiven, not made perfect. We still live in this corrupt world and will endure tribulations, as Jesus said (John 16:33), but we can get the victory through them because the devil no longer rules over us: Jesus is our Lord! He defeated the devil on the cross, and now Jesus is our caretaker, protector, healer, counselor, supplier of all of our needs, comforter, and friend. When problems come, we give them to God in prayer and wait with hope for His answer, knowing His ways and timing often differ from ours, but that His answer is always perfect. And we keep praying, rejoicing in hope, and waiting patiently, because God loves us and is faithful!
