About Ronnie Dauber:
My husband and I are Christians and we live in Ontario, Canada with our seven children and fifteen grandchildren. Years ago we received a prophesy over us that said we would be like mighty oaks by the river bank and that people would come to us to get strength. Although I never took it very seriously, it seems that it has come to pass as we continue to be a strong shoulders for others.
I have a passion to share my love of God with others and a burning desire to get the message out that God is good; that He’s alive; and that He loves people. Jesus is returning soon and I want to do all that I can do to help others be ready! It’s my prayer that this blog will encourage readers to see the goodness of God in the land of the living.
I enjoyed my legal career in the courthouse, but it was ended after I incurred injuries to my back and legs in a car accident. I took advantage of being home and pursued a career as a writer and author. My intention was to write books for teens and adults that were exciting, but that did not contain any profanity, sexual content or insolence. I studied in college for three years and then after three published books, including one adult suspense/thriller, I was on my way to become the author I’d always dreamed of becoming.
However, as life has it at times, the direction of that career changed sooner than planned when I was diagnosed with terminal cancer in July of 2011 and given only a few months to live. Being a woman of faith, I knew that I had to dig deep into the Word and get to know in person, the Jesus of the Bible. It was a long battle, and not kind, but I beat it! All praise to God!
During that battle, I studied the Bible diligently and kept notes and messages that I received from the Lord through His Word. When I was healed, I formatted those messages into a book called, Let Faith Arise!. My hope is that people will read this book and be encouraged to really learn about Jesus so they can know Him—not so they can get things from Him, but so they can truly know that He is the Son of God and that’s He’s returning soon. I want people to learn what faith is, why we need it and how to use it so they can live the way God wants them to live and be ready for when He returns.
Other interests: I surround myself with good Christian music that uplifts me and keeps me in the presence of God. My favorite songs are by Paul Wilbur, The Booth Brothers, The Gaither Vocal Band, The Bishops, Chris Tomlin and Matt Redman.
I also enjoy gardening and sitting on my garden swing to watch the colorful birds flutter around the feeders. And I have learned how to bake and create delicious meals using only raw foods—it’s been a challenge, but it’s proved to be very healthy for us.
I’m the author of the young adult adventure series called, The Misadventures of Sarah Davies, that has four books published to date, and they include Mudslide, Firestorm, Whiteout and Raging Waters. I hope to have the final book to this series published by Christmas of 2015.
I’ve also written two inspirational books: the first is Let Faith Arise!, which was published in 2012, and the second is No Compromise! Biblical Answers to Some of Today’s Issues, which will be released at the end of February, 2015.
As well, I write articles of various interests for three major online journalism sites and have over 2000 articles published, and I often write as a guest on other blogs. However, my focus lately has been on this blog and on writing my inspirational books.
I hold college diplomas in Business & Administration and Common Law, and in Children’s and Adult Literature, and have earned a legal certificate for court reporting in Canada.
My message to the world is, “SMILE, God loves you!”.
