It’s easier to change the rules to suit our desires than to change our desires to suit the rules. And sadly, modern “Christianity” changes the words and meaning of the Bible to suit its desires, instead of teaching that WE must change our desires to please God. Hebrews 11:6 says that without faith, it’s impossible to please Him. Christians are followers of Christ! We believe in Jesus, and study the Bible in its fullness because it’s God’s Word for us. Jesus is God who came to earth in the flesh to save us. He does not change. His Words don’t change. What He said in the Bible still stands today, and when we obey Him, Heaven will be our Home, but when we get it backwards, we’ll spend eternity wishing we hadn’t been so wrong!
