Many are taught that they have to work hard and be as righteous as possible to get to Heaven. But this is a lie because we are all sinners, and not ONE of us will get there of our own accord, regardless of how good we try to be. There’s only ONE way to get into Heaven, and that’s by accepting Jesus as our Savior! We will NEVER be righteous enough on our own, but when we accept Jesus, He cleanses us of all sin and fills us with His Spirit, and we bear HIS righteousness. Then, as we read our Bibles, He teaches us His Truth, and we are drawn closer to God because He no longer sees the sins we once bore, but Christ’s righteousness that reigns in us.
