Many Christians think they’re denied God’s blessing when their gift to someone is refused. But in reality, it’s the one who refuses the gift who loses. Jesus tells us to give freely to those in need and to help others. When we sow sparingly, we are blessed (2 Corinthians 9:6); when we give, it’s given back to us (Luke 6:38), and when we give generously, we will prosper (Proverbs 11:25). If we love the Lord, obey His Word, and give willingly, without judging or complaining, we are blessed even if our gift isn’t accepted because God loves a cheerful giver and blesses those who give!
