God is Holy and perfect, the Creator of everything, who holds the keys to hell and death. He says what He means and means what He says, is fair and not a respector of persons, biased or racist, offering His grace of salvation to every living soul. But the devil is an evil fallen angel who deceives, steals, and tries to kill and destroy us with fear, false hopes, and lies about God. He’s nasty but no match for Jesus, the Son of God, who became a man and defeated him on the cross. So when we accept Jesus as our Savior, and face problems, fear, or threats, we can give them all to Jesus and rejoice because we know that NO one is greater, more powerful, or more gracious than our God, and that when our hope and trust are in HIM, it’s the devil who trembles, not us!
