Good works will not get us into Heaven. Yet, many are deceived into believing they will; others think they can buy their way into Heaven, and many more assume we’re all going there anyway. But there’s only ONE way to get into Heaven—Jesus! We must realize that God and Heaven are Holy, that we are sinners, and that Jesus came down from Heaven to free us from sin and take on the punishment we deserved. When we accept Jesus as our Savior, our sins are pardoned, and we’re given a new Spirit—God’s Spirit, the ONLY Spirit acceptable in Heaven. And while we’re here, we do good works so others can see God’s love in us as we help each other and show the lost that God loves them.
