Christmas is when we celebrate the good news! God fulfilled His promise to send a Savior who would take the punishment for our sins so we could be redeemed to God and live with Him forever. Jesus IS that Savior. He gave up His throne in Heaven to be born in a barn, live a short life, die on the cross for our sins, and rise from the grave to return to His throne in Heaven and give us eternal life. And all we have to do is believe that Jesus is our Savior. Celebrating Christmas is our way of saying, Thank you, Jesus!
