There are times when we pray for a long time for someone to come to the Lord and receive salvation. We witness to them, show them God’s love, and encourage them in the hope of Jesus, yet, their response implies that they aren’t interested. Don’t give up! We don’t know how firm the grip is that the devil has on them, and our prayers and witness may be all they have to break free. We walk by faith and not by sight, and Jesus said to ask for anything in His name, and He’d give it to us. He said to pray for the salvation of the lost, and He warned us that some things require a lot of prayers and even fasting. Jesus didn’t give up on us, so let’s not give up on those whose lives literally depend on us to lead them to Jesus!
