Most of us think we know what’s right for us. We buy homes, have our families, plan our future, and feel in control of our lives. But when we become Christians—that is, accept Jesus as our Savior, read our Bibles, and follow Him—we are no longer lords over our lives: Jesus is! We submit to Jesus and follow Him, and He supplies our needs and gives us wisdom and knowledge to share His Truth with others. But still, sometimes we’ll really want something, and when we don’t get it, we think God doesn’t hear or care. Well, He does hear and care, but He also knows if we need or should have what we’re asking for. We must learn to submit to God and TRUST Him to bless us with all we need to do what He’s set before us. Our reward is not worldly possessions, but Jesus, who is coming soon to take us to His eternal and glorious Home!
