In this world, friends come and go. Some stay because of common interests, but as we draw closer to the Lord and stand for His values, even those friendships will fade. But we have a friend who sticks closer than a brother, who will NEVER leave us, NEVER condemn us, and ALWAYS help us through our problems—His name is Jesus! What other friend would sacrifice their life to save ours, or willfully take the punishment for our sins so we could go to Heaven? Only Jesus, our Lord and Savior! So when the world forsakes us and we feel alone, we must look to Heaven and remember: Jesus is a Friend who will always be ready with outstretched arms to help and comfort us.
