Prayer is our lifeline to God. It’s how we communicate and fellowship with our Heavenly Father. Nothing is more precious or more valuable than spending time with the One who created us and loves us! When we accept Jesus as our Savior, He fills us with His Spirit, who sends our prayers up to our Father. And when we study the Bible to know Him, His ways, His will, and His plan for us, we will hear Him speak to us! We talk to God in prayer; He talks to us through His Word. This is our Father’s will for us: that we pray without ceasing, rejoice always, and give thanks as we spend time with Him.
