Many have turned from Christianity after following people, not God. They joined a congregation where so-called Christians treated them badly, and now assume all Christians are hypocrites and want no part of their God! But this was NOT God’s doing because He is the epitome of love and mercy! He loves each of us so much that He became a man, died on the cross for our sins, and rose from the grave to give us eternal life with Him. This Truth is found in our Bibles, and we must study it daily, beginning with the New Testament, because God speaks to us through His Word, and His Spirit draws us close and fills us with peace and joy. Our relationship with Jesus grows, and our hope in Him alone abounds when we follow God, not people.
