When we belong to this world, our thoughts and desires align with it. But when we accept Jesus as our Savior and study the Bible to know Him, our desires and purpose become like His. We no longer strive for possessions or fame; we want His Light to shine through us. We want to help the needy and pray for others, for family and friends to know Jesus, and for healing and blessings for the sick. Our answers may not be speedy because God sees the big picture, not just what we see, and some things take longer. So, let’s sing our praises to Him and stay positive because God is faithful to grant us the desires of our hearts!
