For many, possessions are their only security in this world. They may sometimes share with the needy, but they complain about it. But when we know Jesus as our Savior, our focus changes to Him, the life He’s given us, and what He’s prepared for us in Heaven—and this world can’t come close to what He has for us. Jesus is our Lord, and if we need anything, He’ll give it to us, so we don’t have to worry about going without. He works through us to show His love and mercy to the lost and to those in need. For many, the only way they’ll see Jesus is through us, so when we take on His attributes, act on our words, and give with a cheerful heart, we show them that God loves them.
