When a man becomes a father, God gives him the authority over his children to be their leader, teacher, and provider. This responsibility requires a lifelong commitment of prayer and diligence because this corrupt world is determined to destroy our children. But as Christian fathers, God has given you His Spirit to lead them, His Word to teach them, and His love and mercy to encourage them, so they can grow up to become loving, fruitful, and Godly adults. After all, these are not only your children; these are God’s children whom He put in your care! And one day soon, the Lord will call all of us Home, and to all the obedient fathers, He will say, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
