The Bible warns Christians to be careful in befriending the world’s people, as we have little in common with them. We’ll either side with their worldly values or lose their friendship for defending ours. But there is a Friend who’ll stick with us forever—Jesus! He left His Holy throne in Heaven and came to this corrupt earth to rescue us from our sins, fill us with His Spirit, and be our Friend for life! He stretches His arms toward us, and when we take hold of them, He washes us clean, fills us with His love, and is our Friend forever. And as we grow in His Word and fellowship with other Christians, we become family, sharing the joy of the Lord and waiting together for the day Jesus will take us out of this world to be with Him forever in Heaven!
