We’re living in a time when being persecuted for our faith is getting out of control. It’s not easy staying calm and happy when people come against us, and sometimes, we want to get even for what they do to us. But God tells us not to, that we’re to love them instead. Why? Because IF they knew Jesus, they’d be free of sin and of Satan’s control, and full of love. They’d focus on the goodness of God and what He’s prepared for them, and cherish their lives and ours. Right now, Satan, who hates God and us, pushes them into our paths, and they willingly obey because they resent the peace, hope, and joy that we have. It’s not our place to judge and punish anyone for their actions; God will do this on our behalf soon enough. Our job is to love them and show them Jesus, so He can set them free, just as He set us free!
