Many think everyone will automatically go to Heaven when they die. Some believe good works will get them in; others confess their sins to a religious leader to make it right with God. But NOTHING we do will get us into Heaven! God is Holy, and we are sinners who can NOT be in His presence unless our sins are removed, despite how “good” we try to be here on earth. Our inherent sins, our sinful nature, cannot stand in His Holy presence. There’s only ONE way to get into Heaven—accept Jesus, the Son of God, as Lord and Savior. He gave His life on the cross to set us free and redeem us, and when we know Him, we want to praise Him all day long as we wait for Him to call us Home. If we refuse His salvation, our eternity will not be Heaven!
