Many say they have faith, yet are easily defeated. They don’t realize that faith is the substance or energy needed to believe, and that faith in God comes only one way—through His Word. When we know Jesus as our Savior, we study the Bible to fill our hearts and minds with His Truth, and we develop a relationship with Him. The Bible is no longer just a book of words; it’s God speaking to us! We value everything He has to say to us, knowing from prophecies that have come to pass that God means what He says and says what He means, and we trust Him! So when we pray for something and the answer doesn’t come right away, we don’t panic or give up because our faith is in Him, and we know He will answer us His way and in His timing.
