Life changes as we age. When we suffer from health issues or financial stresses, we can’t do what we used to do, and often feel useless to the Lord. We forget that God is the Creator of everything and doesn’t NEED our help in anything (Job 38:4). We serve Him because we love Him and WANT to share His gospel, and as we age, we slow down and change a few things, but we don’t retire! Despite our limitations, we can still praise and worship Him, offer a smile or kind word to someone in need, and PRAY for others. And one day soon, Jesus will welcome us Home with open arms because, regardless of how great or small it was, we were faithful in what He gave us to do.
