As Christians who love Jesus, we don’t participate in Halloween! This is a pagan religious celebration, originating 2000 years ago at the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, and continues today, glorifying Satan, its god. The Celts would dress in costumes, worship the dead whose evil ghosts they believed came back to life on this night, and offer burnt sacrifices to them for protection. But WE love the Lord! We don’t partake in this evil night or allow our children to dress up and trick-or-treat just because everyone else is. Everything we say, do, and think should give glory to God. The world can celebrate, but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord!

My children never care to go trick or treat I would have a party for them

Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter?
Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.
