How do we avoid stumbling on a dark path? We turn on a lantern to show us the way. Darkness would still be around us, but we’d see the path ahead and keep going forward. This is what the Word of God does for us. It doesn’t remove the dark evil around us but clearly shows us the path that leads to freedom. The more we study the Scriptures, the more we know Jesus, who IS the Light, and the easier it is to stay on the path and be a beacon for others to follow!
