Many people misunderstand “God’s blessings” and assume He’ll grant their desires for earthly riches and success. But being a Christian is not about God serving us; it’s about us serving God. When we turn from the world to follow Jesus and study the Bible to know Him AND His ways, our hearts change to be like His. When we delight ourselves in the Lord and the life and freedom given at the cross, He meets our needs and blesses us because our desires become like His—to help others find the Truth.
