Many people are confused about what we can ask God to do for us. Some believe it’s His obligation to give us everything we ask; others are afraid to ask Him for anything. When we accept Jesus as our Savior, we become God’s children, and like any earthly father, when we have a need, our Heavenly Father is here to help us. He hears and answers our prayers no matter how great or trivial the need is, and when we trust Him and don’t doubt, we’ll receive what we’ve asked for because God loves us and is faithful to His promises.
