God is love: He’s not about love or filled with love—He IS Love. God created the first man and woman in His image and loved them; He also made us and loves us. But we are separated from His love because God is Holy and we have sin. Yet He’s never stopped loving us, so He sent Jesus to die on the cross and free us from those sins. When we accept Jesus as our Savior, we are free to come into God’s presence and live in His love, and through His Spirit, God’s love lives in us. This is what makes us Christian!
