We have faith in things every day—we sit on a chair having no fear it will break. But do we have faith in God to be our Lord? Romans 10:17 says that faith comes by hearing the Word of God, which means we need to study the Scriptures to know God and develop a relationship with Jesus. The more we study, the closer to God we get and the stronger our faith in Him becomes. Then our attitude will be, “If God said it, I believe it, and I’ll live by faith in Him and not by sight.” God is faithful to His Word, and our faith in Him means that we know He WILL do what He has promised.
