The Bible says the meek will inherit the earth, and it’s because they are committed to Jesus and submit to His Lordship. They don’t pray about a situation and then try to work it out their way. But some of us are guilty of doing that. We forget that He is God and is directing our lives according to His wisdom and purpose. When we pray about a situation, we have to trust God to bring us through it HIS way. Then we’ll have His peace and see that all things work together for good according to His purpose and to His glory.
