Two spiritual forces impact our lives. The lesser one is the devil, a created angel who became sin and will stop at NOTHING to keep us from God so we’ll die lost and spend eternity with him in hell. The omnipotent One is God, Creator of everything, who became a man and died on the cross in our place and defeated the devil by taking our sins away and rising again to give us eternal life with Him. When we know Jesus as our Savior, we praise Him when the enemy attacks because he’s afraid of Jesus and flees. If the birds of the air know to sing their chirps of praise amid a storm, then so should we!
