When we see the pictures of Baby Jesus lying so peacefully in that manger, our hearts melt with His cuteness. God planned this visit since the beginning of time, and His birth is the beginning of His promise to save us from our sins. Jesus put aside His deity and came to earth so that He could become one of us and die on the cross in our place for our sins. And then He rose from the dead and returned to His throne and gave us eternal life. As we sing the Christmas carols, our hearts can’t help but fill with love, joy, and praise for Jesus, our Lord and our Savior, and our Friend!
