It’s difficult to praise someone who we’ve only heard about but don’t know personally. It’s hard to share the gospel with others and sound convincing when we don’t even know it ourselves. As Christians, we need to dig into the Scriptures to know Jesus, and we have to spend time in prayer and worship to develop a personal relationship with the One who saved us from our sins. Then we can come before Him with gladness and sing with joy because we know that Jesus IS Lord and that we are the sheep He came to save!
