The people of this world surrender to its ways, not realizing that the world’s lord is the devil who rules over them. However, as Christians, our allegiance is to Jesus because HE is OUR Lord, and we surrender to His authority, which we know by reading the Bible. Whatever He said is what He meant regardless of what we see, and He’s told us to give Him ALL of our burdens. Jesus does NOT want us to go backward and give the devil any authority over our lives, so if we’re going to be solid and productive Christians, we must read the Bible with a heart to know AND obey Jesus, OUR Lord.
