When Jesus is our Lord and Savior, we don’t have to work at obeying God’s laws because the joy of our salvation inspires us to want to please God. We don’t have to fear what’s coming next in this sinful and chaotic world because we have God’s peace, and our hope and trust are in Jesus. Reading the Bible isn’t a chore; it’s a desire in our heart inspired by God’s Spirit in us so we can develop a personal relationship with Jesus and do His will. It really is a delight to be part of God’s family. God is good!
