When the circumstances around us are overwhelming, and the confusion and chaos send waves of chills in our direction, the best thing we can do is withdraw from it all and praise God because no matter how it appears, He is still in control. The negative feelings and fear will disappear because our hearts will be renewed with the joy of our salvation as His love floods our souls. So, let’s sing His praises and rejoice in the hope of His coming soon to take us out of here before He pours His wrath upon this sinful world. Then we can do what God has called us to do and share His love and grace with others, pray for the lost and intercede for the issues around us. Fear will have no place in our lives when we choose to be still and rest in His peace.
