One of the beautiful things about the Lord is that we can come to Him at any time, any place and under any circumstances and He will always be there for us. When a child has a problem or gets hurt, he or she can run to their parents and in their arms, they are comforted. The problem hasn’t gone away but they feel safe and are at peace, and they can hear the parent’s words of encouragement. It’s the same with our Heavenly Father. We can run to Him and He will comfort us with His peace, and when His peace flows through us, we can hear His instructions and His wisdom regarding our situation. As the words of the song remind us, God is a good, good Father.
