This dark world can make Christians feel small and inadequate at times. Sometimes our help is appreciated; other times we’re mocked or ignored because we don’t accept the world’s values or ways. Jesus pardoned our sins and covered us with His righteousness, and we are blessed when we remember who we are in Him, follow Him, and give Him the glory in all we say and do. Jesus watches over us now and has prepared a Home for us in Heaven—and He’s coming back soon to take us there. So let’s hold our heads high. God loves us, and we belong to Him, and in this dark world, we are not alone: Jesus is our shield and has us covered!
