Some Christians like to brag about their faith, calling it “My faith.” But faith is not a possession; it’s the substance or energy that supports what we believe in, the power behind our actions. When we merely talk about faith but don’t act on it, it’s a dead faith that produces no results. But when we act on it, it’s true faith, and our words not only encourage others and bring glory to the Lord, but our actions confirm that we believe what we say and are trusting in the Lord. Our faith is a witness to the world. When people see that our actions reflect our words, many will be encouraged to seek Jesus as their Savior because they’ll see that He is a real and faithful Lord!
