For years, people have blamed the Jews for killing Jesus. But the truth is, it was our sins that killed Him. Jesus came to earth and became a man for one reason—to take our sins upon Himself at the cross, and redeem us to God! Jesus said in John 10:17-18 that NO one has the authority to take His life but that it is HIS will to lay it down and give US life. Being born a Jew, Jesus came to His own first, but they preferred their religion and rejected Him, so His gift of salvation was given to the rest of us. When we accept Jesus as our Savior, He frees us from our sins and gives us eternal life. Now, we must be a witness to those who don’t know Him, so they’ll learn the truth and accept Jesus, who GAVE His life for them!
