It’s not a chore to follow Jesus. Once we realize that we are sinners in need of a Savior and that Jesus IS that Savior, and accept His salvation for our lives, we are filled with a new life, and we WANT to follow Him. As we study our Bibles to know Him and learn of His ways, it becomes our life’s desire to live for Jesus and share His Truth with others. We don’t see Christianity as a set of religious rules, but as freedom from Satan’s clutches because we are now the redeemed children of God! We gladly follow Jesus and do His will, and we live to rejoice and give Him glory because serving our Lord is not a chore; it’s our hearts’ desire!
