So often, we thank God for answers to prayers or for blessings that we have waited on Him to receive. But how often do we praise Him and thank Him for things we don’t see? For protecting us from situations that could have destroyed us, from people who could have hurt us, or from doing things that could have hurt others? The devil is busy every day trying to destroy us, but God is faithful, always watching over us and protecting us. When we get to Heaven, we’ll see all the times that Jesus intervened and saved us from sure disasters, and we’ll fall to our knees with praise and gratitude for the One who is eternally faithful.
