Our life situations and problems often set our attitude for the day. But as Christians, we must look beyond the problems and to the Lord. We can’t focus on what we don’t have but on all that Jesus has done for us and IS doing. Jesus gave His life so that we could live, be spared from His wrath over sin, and spend eternity with Him—He loves us that much! We are now children of God, and when we focus on Jesus, we’re filled with joy because His love floods us and we know we are blessed. Regardless of what we face when we rise in the morning, we belong to Jesus, and He will lead us through it all. So, rather than allow ourselves to be discouraged or downtrodden, we will rejoice in the Lord our God!
