The most powerful mind-controlling tactic in today’s world is the news media. It used to report only facts, but has become an outspoken expression of biases, fueling addicted audiences, separating friends and family. As Christians, we must get away from the news media and focus on God and all He has done and is doing for us. We must realize that it’s more productive to be who HE has called us to be than what the media wants us to be. We shouldn’t be wasting our time trying to prepare ourselves for what it says; rather, we should be redeeming our time to do what Jesus has told us to do—share His love, truth, and grace with the lost as we wait for His call to take us Home.
