There’s an old saying, “We’re not getting older; we’re getting better.” And that’s so true when we know Jesus as our Savior. It’s hard fitting into this corrupt world as we age; our bodies don’t function as they used to, and many of us have to take medications that give the world an assumed authority over what we can think or say. Sometimes, we feel so defeated, but when we focus on Jesus, He fills us with hope and joy and reminds us that He’s prepared an eternal future for us with Him, where we’ll live in our resurrected bodies, which will never age or get sick. We can’t let this evil world steal our joy and dictate who we are; we are children of God! And we keep looking up with hope and enthusiasm because Jesus is coming soon to take us Home!
