We’re warned in 1 Timothy 6:5 that only a mind depraved of the Truth will assume that godliness is a means of gain. Yet, false Christian leaders use God’s Word for earthly gain, convincing their followers to do the same. But Jesus didn’t come to earth to die on the cross for our sins so we could be rich in the things He’s about to destroy with His wrath! Jesus is our Savior, who has prepared an eternal Heavenly Home for us, and while we’re here, we’re at peace knowing He’s our Lord, who hears and answers our prayers, provides for all our needs, heals us, leads us, comforts us, and is a Friend at all times. We can’t take anything from this world with us when we leave it, and we are content because His grace is all we need!
