Our prayers aren’t always answered according to our ways or timing. But that’s a good thing, because most of us don’t see the big picture to know what we should be praying for. But God knows, and He allows problems to come; sometimes to discipline us, sometimes to break our dependence on the world, and sometimes to direct us onto a certain path. As believers, when we have problems, we seek God and study His Word to build our faith and trust in Him. It’s because we are humble before God that He can change our thinking to do things His way instead of ours. Each problem is a growing pain in life that draws us closer to Jesus, builds our faith in Him, and enables us to serve Him with a submissive and grateful heart.
