When problems come, we have two points of focus—the problem or the answer. And when it comes to the answer, we also have two points of focus—the world or the Lord. As Christians, we cast our cares onto Jesus and trust Him to lead and guide us. We must resist focusing on what the devil can do to us and draw close to God by studying the Bible and filling up with the Words of Jesus that encourage and strengthen us. He’s forewarned us that problems will come (John 16:33) and told us not to focus on what the devil is doing but on what He’s already done! Jesus is our point of focus! When our eyes are on Him, we are filled with hope and joy in the Lord, and the devil flees!
