Many of us pray for loved ones, but sometimes, it feels pointless. But Jesus tells us that He gave His life to save everyone (John 3:16), and doesn’t want anyone to perish (2 Peter 3:9). He wants us to continue praying fervently for them (James 5:16) despite Satan’s fight to keep them (John 10:10), always remembering that God is greater than this fallen angel. We walk by faith in God (2 Corinthians 5:7), not by sight. We continue to pray and share the gospel with the lost (Mark 16:15), and praise God for His love and faithfulness (Philippians 4:6), always with the hope that today will be the day of salvation for those we love (2 Corinthians 6:2). Defeat is not an option!
