There’s a difference between knowing “about” Jesus and committing to Him personally. Many agree who Jesus is, but refuse to commit to Him, follow His ways, and obey Him. Satan is the perfect example of that. He was once part of Heaven’s glory, but refused to commit, honor, or obey God—and his eternal destiny is now the Lake of Fire. To know Jesus is to love Him, accept His salvation personally, be filled with His Spirit, and have a desire to read the Bible to build our relationship with Him. He’s our shepherd in this dark world, and the only voice we hear. We follow and obey Him with joyful hearts, and share His salvation message with others so they, too, can know Jesus personally.
