We celebrate the birth of Jesus, but this is not His beginning! He is God eternal, who has no beginning or end. Jesus is the Word that became Flesh, the promised Messiah and Savior of the World, repeatedly spoken of throughout the Old Testament. He is the King who left His throne on High to become a man so He could redeem us, and who will return soon to rule over the whole world. We celebrate the birth of Jesus because it’s the manifestation of His promise to come and save us, and we rejoice in Him because He’s coming soon to take us Home!
