Faith is believing when everything around us says it’s impossible. But sometimes, we pray for something, and when it doesn’t happen right away, or the way we told God to do it, we begin to doubt and give up—because we have our priorities backwards. Jesus is not OUR servant; He is our Lord, whom we serve and trust to care for us. We’re to cast our burdens onto Him so He can take care of them, but He sees the whole picture, not just what we see, and we must TRUST Him to do it His way and in His timing. Faith is not us making demands and expecting God to comply our way. Faith is submitting to Jesus as our Savior and Lord, and trusting in His grace to do it His way.
